U.S. Open future sites through 2027

The 120th U.S. Open championship was at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York, for the sixth time.

The September Open was unusual but the golf schedule in 2021 has the event back in its usual spot on the calendar in June.

So where are the future locations for our national championship?

Many of the country’s venerable venues are on tap to host, including the Country Club and Oakmont. Also, three of the next seven U.S. Opens will be in California.

And Pinehurst will be more of a fixture in the rota going forward. In announcing its anchor site strategy, the USGA confirmed that the U.S. Open, in addition to its already-announced slot in 2024, would also be played at Pinehurst No. 2 in 2029, 2035, 2041 and 2047.

This list shows the future U.S. Opens from 2021 to 2027.
