The PGA Tour’s regular season has come and gone. It’s time for the playoffs.
The top 125 players in the season-long FedEx Cup standings have made their way to TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts, for The Northern Trust, the first of three events in the FedEx Cup playoffs. This week’s event in New England is the only playoff event with a 36-hole cut. Only players who finish ranked No. 70 or better after the weekend in the FedEx Cup standings will advance to next week’s BMW Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club outside of Chicago.
