Why I Think Tiger Woods WILL Play In The 2022 Masters

Everybody is talking about the possibility of Tiger Woods playing in the Masters in a couple of weeks time.  Could it happen?
Well I think, given all the rumours and chatter, that Tiger is seriously thinking about this.  So much so that he's out at Medalist Golf Club playing with caddie Joe LaCava alongside him.  That's him testing his levels, seeing if his game is there, seeing if he can physically do it, trying to recreate a bit of Tour feel, on what is a tough track.
At least having put in all that effort he can make an educated decision on whether to tee it up on April 7th.
There is also some significance in the fact that Woods still holds a place in the field of 86.  Phil Mickelson officially pulled out but Woods didn't.
And we know that Tiger will be at Augusta anyway, he has already committed to attending the Champions Dinner.
This will be the 25th anniversary of his first Masters win and Tiger has only missed three Masters since.  He's 46 now and that's significant in all this, because Jack Nicklaus was 46 when he won his last Major, at Augusta.
Here's what I think will happen.  If Tiger is happy with his practice, he WILL play at Augusta.  He knows he probably cannot win, he simply hasn't had enough game time at the highest level, but it is potentially two precious practice rounds on a course you only get to play under tournament conditions once a year.
Practice rounds for what?  Practice rounds for the 2023 Masters when Tiger will attempt to become a Major winner at 47, one year older than Jack when he won his last.
