In case you haven't heard there's a new Tiger Woods documentary on HBO and it doesn't pull any punches when recounting his past.
It's said to be based on Armen Ketayan and Jeff Benedict’s book and while it does of course portray Woods in all his glory as the best golfer on the planet, The Last Dance is most certainly is not.
It's a two parter with the first 90 minutes easing the viewer in following Woods from child star to 97 Masters Champion.
Then the weird shit starts.
Cheating on Elin. All the time. The iron through the windscreen. The 12…. no 20… no make up a number …women in that house of cards harem. The fall. The mugshot. The meds. It's not pretty.
The documentary tracked down one of Woods first girlfriends Dina Parr who reveals home videos of Woods in private. She talks about how Woods parents broke them up. Rachel Uchitel, arguably the woman who really took down Tiger speaks. Stevie Williams also takes part.
But as ever the problem with the documentary is that Tiger himself does not participate in it, and while there's extensive chronicling of his darkest moments, and some of his best, there's no more insight into Woods mind other than the guesses of experts.
Let us know what you think after watching the documentary.
