Speedgolf Rob Set To Fly Around At New Zealand Open

Ireland’s Rob Hogan travels to New Zealand to contest this weekend’s New Zealand Speedgolf Open for the third time in his career.
Hogan, a PGA Golf Coach at Dundrum House Hotel in Co. Tipperary is the 2013 and 2015 Speedgolf World Champion and recently became the Sacramento Speedgolf champion.
Hogan makes the trip to New Zealand in the first days of the borders reopening after a two year closure. He is sponsored by the New Zealand company, ISCAR PLUS.
The current Speedgolf World No. 1 is New Zealander Jamie Reid and the tournament will be played at his home course presenting a monumental challenge to anybody looking to contend for the 2022 title.

The event, contested over two days in New Plymouth, is run by Golf New Zealand and while Jamie Reid is the favourite on paper, the re-emergence of the once dominant Hogan means that this could prove the most intriguing rivalry in the most intriguing sport.
