All we want is for Tiger Woods to come back again. Please golf please!
The GOAT announced yesterday that he had a microdiscectomy procedure on his back to take out a fragment of disc that was pressing on a nerve and causing pain.
Woods felt lingering pain in his back after the PNC Championship which he played in with son Charlie in December.
The recovery time for the operation is thought to be at least 60 days and while doctors say they expect a full recovery doubts now abound as to whether Woods will have the strength and practice reps to be competitive at this years Masters in April.
What is for certain is that Woods will miss the Farmers Insurance Open and Genesis Invitational which were in his 2021 schedule.
This was Woods fourth microdiscectomy and fifth op inlcuding spinal-fusion surgery in 2017.
Lets hope for the best.
