Golf Fan Who Retweets Human Rights Posts Would Give His Right Hand To Watch Saudi International

An Irish golf fan who occasionally retweets posts about human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia has admitted he’d secretly love to be watching the Saudi International on TV this weekend.

Derek Deeney, 47, told reporters “Jaysus I’d give my right hand to be watching the golf this weekend.  There’s shag all else to do in the lockdown.”

“I know I know I know what I said before after yer man they dissolved in the barrel of acid but I’ve done a bit of research and educated myself on the strides the Saudi’s are making to be less psycho these days.”

“They’ve gotten a lot better over the last few years in fairness to them….like they let women drive to the supermarket between 3 and 4 am in the mornings now which I’d call huge progress.  I even saw this thing on YouTube about the King investing in a more humane type of rock to bury women up to their waists with before stoning them for the crime of tempting strangers to assault them.”

“I don’t know, I’ll see” Deeney concluded heading off to order a tank of home heating oil.
