Doc’s Five Best Each Way Bets

Sungjae Im 12/1

On fire since July with four top-10’s from his last six starts. Seventh last week at The Shriners and relentless across driving, greens in reg and putting no matter the setting. T3 here two years ago.

Tyrrell Hatton 22/1

Coming off top-10’s in Italy and Scotland Tyrrell is THE danger man in Japan.  You can set aside his T28 last year as it all went wrong on Saturday, everything else was brilliant.  I make it five times he’s won in October and November and this sets up perfectly for him.

Keegan Bradley 33/1

T5 last week and returning to a course he knows he can contend on.  Bradley’s T13 in 2019 was thanks to a Saturday course record equalling 63. Returned in 2021 to post T7.  Man in form.

Lucas Herbert 50/1

Making his tournament debut and totally under the radar is Lucas Herbert.  Transitioned from an impressive T5 in Italy across the Atlantic to a T20 at The Shriners thanks to a 65, 68 weekend.  Lack of course knowledge aside I think he’s a great October shout.

Corey Connors 28/1

First start since missing the cut at The Fortinet but returning to a course he likes.  T6, T8 on his two appearances with seven of his eight rounds in the 60’s, the other 70.  Finished the PGA Tour season well and a good each way look at 28’s.
