2023 RBC Canadian Open Betting Tips
June 8th – 11th, 2023
Oakdale G & C.C., Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Par: 72 / Yardage: 7,264
Purse: $9 million with $1,620,000 to the winner
Defending Champion: Rory McIlroy
Justin Rose 16/1
Contended for long periods at Oak Hill before settling for T9. Followed that with a T12 at Charles Schwab. Certainly a good fit for this new venue that requires accuracy tee to green with Rosey looking for a second win of the season.
Tyrrell Hatton 12/1
Another T12 last week at Memorial make it five top-20 finishes in a row for Tyrrell and Bo. Really struggled on the par-3’s at Muirfield Village but you feel he’s in the form now to bag his second PGA Tour win.
Tommy Fleetwood 20/1
Missed the cut last time out but looking every bit back to his best and I expect Tommy to be a serious challenger for titles this Summer. T3 at Valspar, T5 at Wells Fargo and hitting enough greens in regulation to challenge. One good putting week away from a big finish.
Shane Lowry 20/1
Battled back from a 76 in round two at Memorial to finish T16 which bring loads of positives for Shane after another fighting T12 at the PGA Championship. That was a nice tune up for Canada where he finished T2 in 2019 and T10 in 2022. This is again a new venue this week but I fully expect Shane to be in the mix.
Michael Kim 80/1
Added a T6 at the Charles Schwab to a solo 7th at the Wells Fargo and confidence is high. Michael won his only PGA Tour title in July 2018.
