Doc’s 5 Best Each Way Bets

Shane Lowry 22/1

Coming off a great T3 at The Masters and in fine form, my only worry is stamina given the huge concentration and effort Augusta required. On a run of four top-15 finishes since his second at The Honda. Stats to die for. T9 here in 2021 and T3 in 2019 and surely a win is coming soon.

Webb Simpson 40/1

No worse than T16 in last five visits and the winner in 2020.  Looked back to himself at Augusta last week and played better than the T35 suggests. A course specialist.

Matt Fitzpatrick 22/1

Hard to believe it is Matt’s 8th visit to Harbour Town and I think he’s lining up a sting on a course tailor made for him. Four top-10’s from his last six starts and T14 at Augusta including a 76 on Saturday and trending towards a win. T4 last year.

Chris Kirk 55/1

T7 in 2021 breaking a string of poor visits. Went on a run of T14, T7, T5 to the Arnie before cooling off in Sawgrass in Texas. Rested and ready to resume what has been a solid season to date. Bit of a punt.

Joaquin Niemann 33/1

Didn’t play last year but T5 in 2020 on debut.  Really impressed with Tiger over the first two rounds at The Masters but maybe contributed to his slip to T35 in the end.  Still, the Genesis winner looks in the form to challenge again this week.
