Favourite Watch

Dustin Johnson again starts favourite at a crazy 6/1 with Jon Rahm (who has course experience) at 10/1.

Doc's Top 5 Each Way Bets

Patrick Cantlay 18/1

Long enough odds for an each way payout from 18/1.  Second at the American Express, T3 at Pebble and T15 last week at Riviera where the putts didn’t drop.  He should be contending this week.

Bryson DeChambeau 20/1

One of the few players to not only know the course but to have won the 2015 NCAA Men’s Championship on it.  Returned last week after a T18 in Saudi Arabia and struggled to game his new Cobra Radspeed driver.  That led to him changing back to his old Speedzone driver after a long night on the range but a fightback Friday wasn't enough to make the cut.  I expect that driver issue to be ironed out now and he'll enjoy the space off the tee Jack's designs give.  Must be on your betslip.

Victor Hovland 25/1

A threat every week. Since winning at Mayakoba Victor has a T2 at Torrey Pines a T6 in Saudi and a T5 at Riviera where….wait for this….he averaged 324.1 yards off the tee! At Riviera!  That power playing should yield benefits again here.

Daniel Berger 30/1

Crazy mistake by the bookies to have Berger at 30/1.  He's coming in rested and a winner from Pebble Beach with some crazy consistent stats. A slew of place payouts make Daniel the gamblers go-to guy over the past year and at 30/1 this week it’s a no brainer mate.

Collin Morikawa 40/1

T7 in both of the Hawaiian events to start the season but did poorly in Dubai.  Came back last week at Riviera and finished T43 after struggling on the greens.  Something tells me Collin will do much better with the flatstick over in Florida this week and I really do fancy him on this course.

Long Odds Glory

Bear in mind that is a “virgin” track and WGC field so Long Odds may not be as mental as usual.
Kevin Kisner is 110/1 and onrelatively short tracks where precision is required he usually thrives.
Cameron Smith 60/1 needed on 104 putts for a solo 4th last week. Streaky.
Matt Fitzpatrick 60/1 scored a T5 last week with Billy Foster on the bag and as grief counsellor when putts don’t drop.
