Doc's 5 Best Each Way Bets
Corey Conners 25/1
Defending Champ from 2019 as a Monday qualifier as the event was cancelled last year. Five top-20's from seven starts this year including 3rd at the Arnie and 7th at The Players and Corey (with his Irish roots) must be on your betslip.
Charley Hoffman 33/1
Never missed a cut in 14 starts at the Texas Open and Hoff looks good to contend again with many big names elsewhere in Masters prep mode. Six top-10's here including a win in 2016 and solo 2nd behind Conners in 2019. Flashes of top form this season with a T7 at Pebble, T10 at Bay Hill and T17 at Sawgrass.
Graeme McDowell 160/1
Beware the golfer who finds form after missing a bunch of cuts, especially when that's a proven winner on Tour and a Major Champion. T4 at last weeks lower tier Corales Puntacan event will surely have GMac chomping at the bit to get going this week. T7 on his last visit here in 2019.
Si Woo Kim 35/1
Should have won the Texas Open in 2019 after dominating for three rounds but finished T4. Winner of the American Express this year and returned to form with a T9 at The Players.
Ryan Palmer 30/1
T6, T4, T6 at the Texas Open between 2015 and 2017 and Ryan Palmer looks in the form to have a say again this year. A home state player this week he comes in off a T17 at The Players and has a best this year of T2 at The Farmers.
