After winning in such style last week Tyrrell Hatton tops the betting at 7/1 in Dubai with Tommy Fleetwood following at 11’s.  If you are looking for a win only bet pre-tournament Collin Morikawa is available at 12/1.  Yes he’s a debutant in Dubai but this guy hits his greens wherever he plays and comes in off two T7’s at the TOC and Sony.

Doc’s Top 5 Each Way Bets

Matt Wallace 25/1

Tied 7th last week with Gareth Lord on the bag and as the relationship builds between these two Wallace can be a real threat in Dubai.  T7 last week after a decent 69 on Sunday and solo second at the Dubai Desert Classic a couple of years ago.  Was also T2 in the Golf in Dubai event in December.

Christian Bezuidenhout 22/1

Even when he’s not on top of the leaderboard Bez is impressing.  Back to back winner of the Dunhill and South Africa Open in late 2020 has brought high confidence into this year. T12 in Abu Dhabi and good signs with a T3 stat in greens in regulation.  Lost out to Lucas Herbert in a playoff last year and looks in the form to contend again.

Jason Scrivener 66/1

Crazy odds for Scriv given his excellent solo second last week in Abu Dhabi where he clipped in at T7 in fairways and T6 in greens hit.  What? Do the bookies think he’s gone on the beer all week since? Not a chance.  T6 here in 2018 and T7 in 2019 and while the door of the bank vault is open I expect this Aussie to be filling his boots.

Adri Arnaus 45/1

Hit lots of greens in very windy conditions last week to post a solid T12 finish and the Spaniard will be looking forward to better things this week.  T29 on his debut here in 2019 and improved to T3 last year.   Has the game to compete anywhere as shown in Italy, Scotland and Dubai in 2020, watch out for a W for this man in 2021.

Lucas Herbert 50/1

Poor weekend in Abu Dhabi for Lucas dropped him from 3rd to a T25 finish but he still showed enough to be shortlisted this week.  T7 on his first visit to Emirates GC in 2019 and winner in 2020, don’t count him out.

Long Odds Glory Shot

David Lipsky 90/1

You probably wont hear about him again for six months, maybe in Switzerland, but always in the mix in the middle East. Scored a T11 and T6 here since 2018 and was T5 last week.
