Wilco Nienaber hit a 439 yard driver at the Joburg Open at the weekend and went on to finish second in the event to JB Hansen.
The 20 year old South African's prodigious length off the tee has been the talk inside the ropes since he won the 2019 South African Amateur title, and at 5000 feet altitude, conditions were perfect for this monster hit.

Though there's not much info on the web yet, (bad by Ping) from zooming in on video I can see his driver looks to be the new Ping G425 LST which is due to be released to the public in early 2021.
To put the drive into perspective, Nienaber's strike was a full 24 yards further than Kyle Berkshire 2019 World Long Drive winning hit of 415 yards.
Here's Nienaber in his garage at home with trackman.
