Billy Horschel What’s In The Winning Bag 2021 WGC Matchplay

After a hard fought week in Texas it was Billy Horschel who was left as the last man standing at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
The 32nd seed and 66/1 shot outright overcame Scottie Scheffler two-and-one to become a WGC Champion for the first time in 20 attempts.
Having finished T2 at the WGC-Workday two starts ago the 34 year old showed all of his true grit to recover from a second round loss then reel off five straight wins including a battle of attrition in the final to earn his spurs.
The win jumps Horschel up 17 places to 17th in the latest World Golf Rankings.
